About me
Hi, I’m Julian Köckinger race mechanic with a genuine passion for motorsport. I started out with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and am currently studying Production Engineering at the University of Graz.
My journey in racing began with Porsche, and since then I’ve been part of series like the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Carrera Cup Germany, and the Porsche Sprint Challenge. Through these experiences, I’ve learned what it means to work with precision, focus, and a clear head especially when it counts
My experience
Experience I have the privilege of working as a race mechanic for Porsche racing cars, where I have been involved in various prestigious racing series:
- Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup: Responsible for technical support and setup of the racing cars.
- Porsche sixt Carrera Cup Germany: Support and maintenance of vehicles throughout the racing season.
- Porsche Sprint Challenge Swiss and Lechner Sprint Challenge: Optimizing vehicle performance and quickly solving problems during races.
I bring not only technical expertise, but also the ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to unexpected challenges.

While I'm still building experience in broader engineering roles, I’m motivated, reliable, and always eager to learn. I work with care, take feedback seriously, and aim to grow with every project I take on.

In addition to mechanical preparation, I also offer basic setup support for race cars. From tire pressures and camber to ride height and suspension adjustments. I help tailor the setup to the driver’s feedback, track conditions, and event type.
